The STARS Athletic Association (SAA)
The STARS Athletic Association is a partnership between parents, alumni, coaches, teachers and school administration to create the premier destination for the top Muslim student-athletes. SAA supports the holistic development of Brighter Horizons Academy student-athletes with a close community of parents, alumni, and community leaders to produce the best facilities and services for all Brighter Horizons Academy sports. Together, they strive to provide the best facilities and services for all Brighter Horizons sports. Brighter Horizons boasts a strong academic, athletic, and community-focused reputation nationwide, and the SAA works to enhance it. Families and alumni are dedicated to investing their time, resources, and talents in partnership with the school to create an exceptional experience for student-athletes.
The SAA’s mission is to:
- Strengthen the sense of community around all Brighter Horizons sports programs.
- Raise and allocate funds to address the diverse needs of each athletic program, both large and small.
- Serve as trusted advisors to the Athletic Director, school administration, and staff, supporting leadership in the evolving world of sports.
- Provide coaches with resources and support to attract, guide, and develop the best student-athletes in their respective sports.
- Act as a bridge between parents of student-athletes and the school.
- Offer parents of student-athletes a program to channel their time and resources, ensuring their children and future generations enjoy the best of high school athletics.

S.T.A.R. is a membership program and the fundraising arm of BHA.

S.T.A.R. Membership
Every star membership includes a donations to the STAR Athletic Association and access to the sports socials. Some include access to soccer, basketball, and volleyball home games and awesome merchandise.
